Hi, I am Payman and I have been part of the wonderful team at Dentistry on Parkside since 2013.
I graduated in 2009 from Manipal University in India with a Bachelor in Dentistry with First Class. Since then I have completed the Overseas Trained Dental Exam programme at Otago University as well as the New Zealand Dental Registration Exams programme with the Dental Council of New Zealand. I initially worked in Central Otago for 2 years where I refined my clinical skills alongside several Dental Specialists. I then moved to Christchurch where I worked part-time in a private practice as well as Dentistry on Parkside. Since mid-2016 I have been working full time at Dentistry on Parkside and I must say that it is the most enjoyable practice to be involved with.
I am very passionate about dentistry and have dedicated many hours attending courses to improve my skills in all aspects of dentistry. I particularly enjoy endodontics (root canal), crown and bridge, surgical dentistry with intravenous sedation as well as managing very anxious patients for whom dentistry has been a difficult experience in the past. I keep my patient’s well-being at the focus of my goal and ensure they get the best value and experience that I can offer them.
I have recently been endowed with a Fellowship in General Dentistry from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons which has been a 2 year process with rigorous examinations.
Apart from Dentistry I love the outdoors and enjoy a game of tennis and cricket.
